VALENTINI – TUSCANY – ITALY

Giovanni Valentini’s family has been working in agriculture for over 5 generations. They have a strong bond with the land and today, together with their two children, they continue the tradition with the production of wine and extra virgin olive oil. The Valentini Farm is nestled in the rolling hills of the D.O.C. Monteregio lies on the territory of the historic Municipality of Massa Marittima (GR), in the Tuscan Maremma. In the 11.5 hectares of property destined for viticulture there are native vines such as Sangiovese, Vermentino and Malvasia Nero, but also international ones such as Merlot, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon. The optimal exposure of the hilly vineyard lands, combined with low yields and therefore high sugar gradations, flanked by careful viticulture with low environmental impact, allows the Valentini family to obtain grapes with all the characteristics necessary to turn into great wines.
