Tasting Notes
Clear, not particularly intense ruby red color with textures tending to garnet, consistent.
On the nose, floral opening of purple flowers reminiscent of wisteria and violet, interesting notes of ripe dark berry fruits reminiscent of black currant and blueberry, sweet spices such as cinnamon and anise enrich the range of aromas accompanied by hints of toasting of cigar box and oak wood, pleasant balsamic notes on the finish.
The taste is fresh, with an important tannic texture. Balanced to the taste still shifted to the hard parts, the tannin is pleasant, but still a little rough on the whole, however, the result is of fine quality.
It is recommended in combination with colombo risotto with quince apples.
