GONZÁLEZ BYASS – JEREZ – SPAIN

Gonzalez Byass is a family-run winery but with an international attitude. Eleven offices, located in various parts of the world and whose wines are available in over one hundred countries. Five generations have guided the company to date by focusing on sustainability as a commitment to reduce energy consumption.

Over 4,000 solar panels for self-supplying energy within a sustainability plan that is composed of various phases and which will lead the company, in 2050, to reach the goal of net zero emissions. González Byass is equipped with ten solar parks, covering a total area of 2 hectares, some of them with innovative engineering solutions, aimed at ensuring an efficient use of the energy generated.

“I can’t find a more beautiful business than that of wines and I want to dedicate myself exclusively to it.” Manuel María González, founder of the company.
