Tasting Notes
In the glass it is limpid, ruby red in color with garnet hues, consistent.
On the nose the bouquet of hints is complex: floral, fruity, spicy and toasted. Intense notes of slightly withered red flowers reminiscent of rose and carcadè, followed by aromas of ripe red and dark berry fruits of plum and myrtle berry, spicy scent of licorice and anise followed by toasting that recall the wood of oak, the box of cigars, close woody notes, balsamic freshness of resin and aromatic herbs typical of the Mediterranean scrub.
The sip is important, the tannic texture is good. Wine expression of the territory: very intense and very persistent of fine balanced quality to be balanced with a greater refinement.
It is recommended in combination with venison steak in rosehip sauce.
