Fernand Ginestet fonda la “Ginestet & Co.” nel 1897, diventando, ben presto, il pioniere di quella che oggi è nota come “Interprofession Bordelaise”. Ginestet crea la “Union de la Propriété et du Commerce”, che, nel 1948, diventa il Conseil Interprofessionnel des Vins de Bordeaux.
Dal 1978, l’azienda fa parte del gruppo TAILLAN.
