Tasting Notes
Limpid, intense ruby red color, consistent.
On the nose it shows hints of red flowers, reminiscent of a pot pourri. Effluvium of fruity notes of small red and dark berries such as black currant, blackberry, blueberry and durone cherry. Closing with evident notes of sweet spices where a hint of vanilla prevails.
The sip, with well-polished tannins, is pleasant and fresh. Good persistence of aromatic taste, in which the hints highlighted on the nose are reflected: ripe fruit and spices. Overall a wine with an excellent quality / price ratio.
Tried in combination with a beef steak with porcini mushrooms.
