Capolevante 2019 – Conti Leopardi di San Leopardo

Capolevante 2019 - Conti Leopardi di San Leopardo
Written by Piero Pardini

Wine: Capolevante
Varietal: 85% Sangiovese, 15% Montepulciano.
Denomination: Marche Rosso I.G.T..
Alcohol content: 13% vol.
Vintage: 2019.
Serving temperature: 16° – 18°C.

Tasting Notes
Limpid, of an intense purple-red color, with light purplish textures, consistent.
The range of perfumes is not large, but fine and of good intensity. The hints of ripe fruit prevail, reminiscent of wild berries such as currants, blackberries and Durone cherries. There are also hints of sweet spices such as vanilla and licorice root.
On the palate, there is a balanced sip in its components, with a good tannic texture. Pleasantly persistent, it gives an aftertaste of ripe fruit.
A wine for the whole meal, to drink in the everyday life of a meal with meat dishes. Good value for money.
