Wine: Noras
Variety composition: 90% Cannonau, 10% Carignano.
Denomination: Cannonau di Sardegna D.O.C..
Alcoholic strength: 15% vol.
Vintage: 2020.
Serving temperature: 18° – 20° C.

Tasting Notes
Limpid, with an intense ruby red coat with evident garnet highlights, consistent.
The olfactory bouquet is broad, intense and of fine quality. Opening with aromas of small dark berries such as blueberries and blackberries almost jam-like. Followed by hints of sweet spices such as cloves and vanilla, hints of chocolate powder complete the olfactory range.
The sip is soft, with a tannin present, but overall smooth. Balanced in its components, it gives a fairly persistent aftertaste of sweet spices and medicinal herbs.
Sample tried in combination with a plate of cured meats and medium-aged cheeses.
