Pinot Gris 2020 – Bernhard

Pinot Gris 2020 - Bernhard
Written by Piero Pardini

Wine: Pinot Gris
Variety composition: 100% Pinot Gris.
Denomination: A.O.C. Alsace.
Alcoholic strength: 13,5% vol.
Vintage: 2020.
Serving temperature: 8° – 10° C.

Tasting Notes
Crystal-clear, straw yellow in color with imperceptible golden reflections, with good consistency.
Upon olfactory examination, the range of aromas is quite complex, but of fine quality and quite intense. It opens with floral scents reminiscent of white and yellow flowers embellished with notes of ripe white-fleshed fruit. Hints of wet stone and a hint of citrus complete the examination.
The sip is delicate, rich and fresh. Moderately dry with a delicate soft component, it gives a persistent aftertaste of ripe fruit and citrus notes.
A wine expression of the territory characterized by minerality and freshness.
