Written by Piero Pardini

Wine: Barolo Bricco San Pietro Riserva
Variety composition: 100% Nebbiolo.
Denomination: Barolo D.O.C.G..
Alcoholic strength: 14% vol.
Vintage: 2016.
Serving temperature: 16° – 18° C.

Tasting Notes
Limpid, with an intense garnet red color, consistent.
The nose is an effluvium of fruity notes that recall the scents of ripe berries, embellished with addictive notes of licorice root, sweet tobacco and then close with a balsamic nuance.
The sip is important, rich, enveloping, with a well-smoothed and silky tannic texture. A persistent aftertaste of ripe fruit is highlighted, corroborated by a delicate balsamic hint.
A wine that tells the story of the territory.
