Rosso 2021 - Vignis di Marian
Written by Piero Pardini

Wine: Rosso
Variety composition: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, 50% Merlot.
Denomination: Friuli Isonzo D.O.C..
Alcoholic strength: 14,5% vol.
Vintage: 2021.
Serving temperature: 16° – 18° C.

Tasting Notes
Limpid, with a bright and intense ruby red color, good consistency.
The olfactory range is wide and of fine quality. The floral notes, reminiscent of a pot pourri of withered red flowers, are intertwined with intense fruity notes of ripe blackberry, redcurrant, blood orange and plum jam. The examination is completed by evident balsamic notes and hints of hot spices.
The sip is important, supported by a good tannic texture. Good balance between the various components, it gives a fruity aftertaste embellished with notes of spices.
An elegant wine, of great pleasantness.
