Nizza San Luigi 2020 - Aresca 1952
Written by Piero Pardini

Wine: San Luigi
Variety composition: 100% Barbera.
Denomination: Nizza D.O.C.G..
Alcoholic strength: 14,5% vol.
Vintage: 2020.
Serving temperature: 16° – 18° C.

Tasting Notes
Limpid, ruby red in color, good consistency.
It opens to the nose with floral notes, accompanied by lively fruity hints of black cherry in alcohol, small berries in jam and durone cherry. The taste is completed by hints of sweet tobacco and, in closing, a spicy note.
The sip is full, rich, full-bodied. Good balance between the various components, with a fairly persistent fruity aftertaste enhanced by hot spices.
A wine to try also for a pleasant conversation between friends.
