Written by Piero Pardini

Wine: Terragrande
Variety composition: 70% Nero d’Avola, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot.
Denomination: Calabria I.G.T..
Alcoholic strength: 14% vol.
Vintage: 2022.
Serving temperature: 16° – 18° C.

Tasting Notes
Limpid, with an intense ruby red color tending towards garnet, good consistency.
The nose is quite complex in the range of its aromas: fruity and spicy. It opens with delicate floral notes accompanied by an intense fruity scent of blackberry, durone cherry, dried plum. The olfactory bouquet is completed by hints of sweet spices, licorice root and a nuance of tobacco in the finish.
The sip is pleasant, elegant and overall balanced. With delicate tannins, it is characterized by a persistent aftertaste of ripe fruit and cigar box.
