Nino 2015 - Caruso e Minini
Written by Piero Pardini

Wine: Nino
Variety composition: 30% Frappato, 30% Nero d’Avola, 20% Nerello Mascalese 20% Perricone.
Denomination: Rosso Sicilia I.G.P..
Alcoholic strength: 15% vol.
Vintage: 2015.
Serving temperature: 16° – 18° C.

Tasting Notes
Limpid, with a very intense ruby red color with evident garnet reflections, consistent.
Its olfactory range is wide and intense. It opens with fruity notes of undergrowth: blackcurrant, blackberry, wild strawberry, sour cherry, followed by delicate notes of balsamic herbs and in closing aromas of chocolate bar and a nuance of freshly roasted coffee beans.
The sip is important, well balanced in its components. The tannin expresses itself in all its power, but is well smoothed and silky. The sip is elegant, very pleasant, thanks also to a persistent aftertaste of ripe fruit and embellished by delicate toasting.
