Nero 2021 - Conti Zecca
Written by Piero Pardini

Wine: Nero
Variety composition: : 70% Negroamaro, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon.
Denomination: Salento Rosso I.G.P..
Alcoholic strength: 14,5% vol.
Vintage: 2021.
Serving temperature: 16° – 18° C.

Tasting Notes
Limpid, with a carmine red coat with very light garnet textures, good consistency.
The nose is a riot of aromas: floral, fruity, spicy are to name the main ones. The hints of moderately dried red flowers are followed by addictive aromas of red and black pulp fruit. The olfactory range is completed by hints of cinnamon, licorice root and in the finish notes of chocolate powder.
The sip is important, rich, opulent. Well balanced in its parts, it offers an important tannin, but well balanced. Good taste-olfactory persistence, thanks to an aftertaste of ripe fruit embellished with a nuance of freshly roasted coffee.
