Tasting Notes
Limpid, with a vivid carmine red color with light garnet textures, good consistency.
The range of aromas is overall intense, broad and of fine quality. It opens with floral notes reminiscent of a potpourri of red flowers, followed by intense fruity notes of black cherry and dried plum. A nuance of star anise, hints of sweet tobacco and a delicate hint of undergrowth complete the olfactory bouquet.
The sip is rich, enveloping. Sapidity and freshness supported by a smooth tannin give an elegant and very pleasant sip. Good aromatic taste persistence with a fruity and moderately balsamic aftertaste.
