Tasting Notes
The sample is clear, ruby red in color with purple reflections.
The nose shows floral notes of fresh flowers reminiscent of wisteria and geranium, followed by fruity hints of wild strawberries and durone cherries. The closure is of a delicate hint of undergrowth and fresh mushrooms, accompanied by a nuance of green pepper.
The sip is fresh, the tannin is present, but not invasive. The moderate sapidity and the not excessive persistence, however, make it a pleasant sample to the sip. Given the type, it is recommended for a platter of cold cuts and unseasoned cheeses.
