Tasting Notes
Sample with a not particularly intense garnet red color, good consistency.
The range of aromas opens with an effluvium of slightly withered red flower notes, accompanied by intense hints of ripe red and dark berry fruits including cherry durone, blackberries, black currant and myrtle combined with notes of spices, reminiscent of rhubarb, the broken licorice stick and pink pepper, sinuous and elegant toasted nuances reminiscent of ground coffee and oak wood, tips of cinchona and undergrowth on the finish.
A wine with very captivating and varied aromas. In the mouth there is a correspondence with what is highlighted on the nose. The sip is rich, of good impact with a non-aggressive tannin. Balance between the components is not yet perfect but, in any case, a quality wine. Aftertaste of dark berry fruit and spices. It is recommended to combine stewed rabbit with dark chocolate.
