An overwhelming passion, a dream to be realized, the ancestral call of the earth, a philosophy of life gave birth to Vigne Chigi. Inserted in a natural setting of extraordinary beauty, in an area where the land has been dedicated to viticulture for centuries, after years of cultivation alone, we have decided to make our own grapes.Every day we dedicate work, attention and a lot of passion to our vineyards with the aim of creating a unique wine, capable of enhancing an absolutely extraordinary territorial heritage. Our idea is that our wines, to be unique and excellent, must also be able to express the typicality that only our sun-kissed lands can give.
Hence the great confidence in two native vines: Casavecchia and Pallagrello white and black, capable of creating unmistakable wines with great personality. These are ancient vines that the Bourbons discovered since the beginning of their reign and from which they obtained wines to be served at court together with the great foreign wines. Ferdinand IV appreciated these grapes so much that he ordered the court gardeners to insert them in two of the ten rays of the spectacular “Vigna del fan”. This is the reason, cultivating local vines dear to the Bourbons, of the choice of reproduction on the labels of royal hunting dogs, another great passion of the sovereigns. The location of the company is ideal for those staying in the area who will thus be able to combine a passion for art with food and wine and learn about the culture and traditions of our area.
