Tasting Notes
Clear, ruby red color with garnet reflections, consistent.
The sample opens with floral scents reminiscent of red rose and lily, followed by notes of dark berry fruits such as plum and blackberry, spicy notes of black pepper and nutmeg; herbaceous closure of undergrowth and fern.
The sip is important with a marked tannin, balanced in the various components with a good persistence of the undergrowth taste olfactory.
It is recommended in combination with the rabbit cacciatore.
