Tasting Notes
Clear, of a bright ruby red with purple reflections, of good consistency.
The nose reveals the broad and complex bouquet of its scents: floral, fruity, spicy and toasted. It opens with hints of flowers such as red rose, wisteria and hyacinth, red berry fruits such as cherry, black currant and mulberry, ground black pepper, juniper and myrtle, powdered chocolate and coffee powder.
The sip is important, as is its tannin. Intended in taste and with a long persistence where an aftertaste of ripe fruit remains.
It is recommended in combination with a Florentine-style beef stew.
