Tasting Notes
The sample, in the glass, is limpid, ruby red in color, not particularly intense, with purple textures, of good consistency.
The nose is varied and complex, due to the scent of proposed hints. Hints reminiscent of freshly trampled wildflowers, followed by notes of red and dark berries, small berries such as strawberries, blackberries, currants and durone cherries. There are hints of sweet spices: cinnamon, nutmeg and a nuance of vanilla. Closing with a slight hint of licorice.
The sip is rich, opulent, perfectly balanced in the various components. Silky, linear, precise tannin accompanied by a good acid shoulder that invites a new sip. The finish is very persistent, of fine quality, with an aftertaste of officinal herbs and a hint of ripe fruit.
It is recommended in combination with a mixed grilled meat.
