Tasting Notes
In the glass the sample is limpid, with an intense ruby red color, consistent.
The nose opens with hints of flowers reminiscent of a potpourri of slightly withered red flowers, followed by an effluvium of fruity notes reminiscent of wild berries such as blackberry, blueberry and currant, nuances of cherries in alcohol. Notes of sweet spices and an intriguing balsamic scent close.
The sip is rich, opulent and with an important, silky tannin. On the palate there are notes of cocoa, freshly ground black pepper and a delicate aftertaste of orange peel, very persistent. A wine that is an expression of the well-rounded territory and with an excellent quality/price ratio.
It is recommended in combination with a platter of cured meats and medium-aged cheeses.
