Tasting Notes
Upon visual examination the sample is clear, not intense but lively ruby red color with garnet textures, of good consistency.
The nose shows floral notes reminiscent of a potpourri of red flowers, followed by a fruity scent of blackberry, durone cherry and wild strawberry. Hints of sweet spices such as cinnamon, cardamom and vanilla. Closing with toasting of precious woods.
In the mouth the tannin is silky, not intrusive, the balance between the various components is good, not particularly persistent, but with a spicy aftertaste that is sent to a new sip.
It is recommended in combination with game-based dishes.
La Rioja is confirmed as one of the most interesting regions of the Iberian Peninsula, the quality of its production always at a good level.
