Tasting Notes
Limpid, intense ruby red color, almost impenetrable, with good consistency.
On the olfactory examination the wine is intense, complex and fine. The following hints are highlighted: floral, fruity, herbaceous, spicy and toasted. The olfactory range opens with hints of flowers such as potpourri of red flowers, dark berry fruits such as blackberry, currants and cherries, hints of forest mushrooms, black pepper and coffee powder.
The sip is opulent, with an important structure and perfectly balanced tannins. The sip is very persistent and intense with an aftertaste of spice and ripe fruit.
It is recommended in combination with a cheese fondue with porcini mushrooms.
