Tasting Notes
Limpid, intense ruby red color with purplish textures, of good consistency.
On the olfactory examination the sample gives a wide and complex variety of scents. The opening recalls a potpourri of red flowers such as violet, red cyclamen and violet, followed by aromas of red berries such as wild cherry, dehydrated plum and blueberry. Closing with spicy notes reminiscent of white pepper, cinnamon and sandalwood.
The sip is warm, powerful, with a smooth tannic texture. Good persistence on the nose with an aftertaste of sweet spices.
It is recommended in combination with a truffle roasted veal.
