Tasting Notes
Limpid, very intense ruby red color, consistent.
The nose shows a wide and complex bouquet of aromas. It opens with floral notes, which are accompanied by fruity scents ranging from dark berries to hints of dried plum. The finish is fine and very spicy with references to sweet spices such as vanilla and cardamom. Delicate hints of freshly ground black pepper close.
The sip is well structured, with a well balanced and smooth tannic texture. The finish is particularly long and pleasant where an aftertaste of ripe fruit prevails, with a nuance of spices. A quality champion.
Tried in combination with a wild boar stew.
