Tasting Notes
Limpid, intense ruby red color with evident purplish textures, consistent.
The nose has an intense, fine and well variegated bouquet. It opens with floral hints reminiscent of a pot pourri of red flowers, accompanied by an addictive and ample scent of small berries: blackberries, currants, blueberries and strawberries. Notes of roasted coffee beans and hints of fine woods. Closing with a clear nuance of freshly ground black pepper.
On the palate, the sip is precise, with a good and structured tannic texture, on the whole quite balanced in its components. The closure is quite persistent, it leaves an aftertaste of chocolate powder.
It is recommended in combination with a larded beef roundel.
