Tasting Notes
Limpid, intense carmine red colour, good consistency.
The nose opens with a wide, intense and good quality range of aromas. Floral notes reminiscent of delicately withered violets and cyclamen are intertwined with addictive notes of small fried red berries: blackberry, blueberry, hard cherry and a delicate note of wild strawberry. The olfactory examination is completed by hints of spices such as cloves, nutmeg powder and rhubarb.
The sip is important, with a tannic texture that is not yet perfectly smooth, but which will find its silkiness thanks to a further period of refinement. A wine to be preserved, an expression of the territory of origin, which gives an aftertaste of spices of good intensity and discreet persistence.
It is recommended in combination with traditional Lucanian meat dishes.
