Cabernet Sauvignon 2018 – True Myth

Cabernet Sauvignon 2018 - True Myth
Written by Piero Pardini

Wine: Cabernet Sauvignon
Variety composition: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon.
Denomination: Paso Robles – California.
Alcoholic strength: 14% vol.
Vintage: 2018.
Serving temperature: 14° – 16° C.

Tasting Notes
Limpid, ruby red in colour, with good consistency.
This Cabernet Sauvignon is striking for its olfactory range where important and intense fruity notes of small berries and hard cherries are highlighted. Completing the range of aromas are hints of grated chocolate and coffee powder.
The sip is soft, quite balanced in its components, giving, overall, a well-smoothed and silky tannin. Quite persistent, it leaves an aftertaste of ripe fruit and a hint of liquorice on the palate.
Wine with an excellent quality/price ratio to start appreciating the wines of Paso Robles (California).
