Goat cheese truffles and a Lis Neris Wine

Written by Veronica Lavenia

Soft goat cheese is one of the Italian specialty cheeses. A good goat’s milk cheese has a strong but not intrusive flavor. One of the classic Italian appetizers calls for it served as small truffles covered with dried fruit grain. Chopped pistachios fit perfectly with this cheese, allowing you to recognize and enhance both flavors.

Lis 2016 by Lis Neris is our wine pairing suggestion. “In the glass the sample is crystal-clear, of a very intense straw yellow color with a mantle tending to golden, of good consistency.” For the full review click here.
