Tasting Notes
Limpid, with a very intense ruby red coat, almost impenetrable, with light garnet reflections, with good consistency.
On the nose it offers the taster a wide and varied range of excellent quality aromas. It opens with a scent of fruity notes reminiscent of blackberries, currants and dried plums. This is followed by intense hints of herbs from the Mediterranean scrub where notes of myrtle and juniper stand out. The broad olfactory bouquet is completed by a mineral nuance and hints of roasting.
The sip is important, with strong but perfectly smooth tannins. Completely balanced in its parts, it gives the palate an intense and very persistent aftertaste of ripe fruit and precious woods. A delicate balsamic note completes the examination.
