Don Antonio Riserva 2020 - Morgante
Written by Piero Pardini

Wine: Don Antonio Riserva

Denomination: Sicilia D.O.C..
Alcoholic strength: 15% vol.
Vintage: 2020.
Serving temperature: 16° – 18° C.

Tasting Notes
Limpid, with a lively, intense carmine red colour, consistent.
On the nose it offers a complex, broad and highly intense olfactory range. The delicate floral notes are intertwined with a scent of fruity notes: blackberry, hard cherry and blackberries. The varied olfactory bouquet is enriched by hints of aromatic herbs from the Mediterranean scrub, spicy spices such as freshly ground black pepper, aromas of liquorice root and a light mineral nuance in the finish.
The sip is a caress for the palate. The body is velvety, rich, supported by a silky and well-smoothed tannin. Good olfactory taste persistence, of ripe fruit and spices, which gives the taster pleasure and a sip of rare elegance.
