Written by Piero Pardini

Wine: Syrah Riserva
Variety composition: 100% Syrah.
Denomination: Delia Nivolelli D.O.C. Riserva.
Alcoholic strength: 14,5% vol..
Vintage: 2016.
Serving temperature: 16°-18° C.

Tasting Notes
Limpid, with a very intense ruby red color with purple reflections, good consistency.
On the nose it offers a broad and complex bouquet of aromas. It opens with floral notes reminiscent of a pot pourri of delicately withered red flowers, which are intertwined with fruity hints of black cherry, ripening hard cherry, and dehydrated plum. The examination is completed by notes of spices such as freshly ground black peppercorns and nutmeg, notes of licorice root and in the finish a nuance of powdered chocolate.
The sip is important, rich, round and very pleasant. Equipped with an important but well-smooth tannin, it gives freshness supported by a persistent aftertaste of spices.
A sample that tells the story of the territory of origin. A pleasant discovery.
