Montefalco Sagrantino Arquata 2015 - Adanti
Written by Piero Pardini

Wine: Arquata
Variety composition: 100% Sagrantino.
Denomination: Montefalco Sagrantino D.O.C.G..
Alcoholic strength: 15% vol..
Vintage: 2015.
Serving temperature: 16°-18° C.

Tasting Notes
Limpid, with a lively, consistent garnet red coat.
On the nose it is a scent of intense aromas. Floral scents intertwine with aromas of small red berries such as currants, blackberries and hard cherries. This is followed by delicate nuances of liquorice root, cigar box and notes of undergrowth at the end.
The sip is important. Supported by an elegant tannic texture, it is well balanced in its components. The aftertaste of ripe fruit embellished with balsamic notes makes it pleasant and elegant. A sample expression of the territory of origin.
