Tasting Notes
Limpid, with an intense, almost impenetrable ruby red colour, consistent.
Upon olfactory examination, it offers a complex and intense range of aromas. The floral notes are followed by intriguing fruity notes of ripe cherries and small red berries, followed by hints of sweet and spicy spices such as cinnamon, vanilla and freshly ground black peppercorns. Hints of licorice root and aromatic herbs and a delicate nuance of chocolate powder complete the examination.
The sip is pleasant, rich, and structured. The balance is perfect, supported by a well-smoothed tannic texture, the finish is persistent with an aftertaste of ripe fruit and sweet spices.
An elegant and very pleasant wine.
