Black Label Sauvignon Blanc 2022 – Babich

Black Label Sauvignon Blanc 2022 - Babich
Written by Piero Pardini

Wine: Black Label Sauvignon Blanc
Variety composition: 100% Sauvignon Blanc.
Denomination: Marlborough District.
Alcoholic strength: 12,5% vol.
Vintage: 2022.
Serving temperature: 10° – 12° C.

Tasting Notes
Crystal-clear, with an intense straw yellow colour, quite consistent.
Rich and intriguing on the nose, it gives hints of yellow flowers and tropical fruit and nectarine. Delicate notes of passion fruit complete the olfactory range with a mineral nuance on the finish.
On the palate it is very fresh, soft and very elegant. Perfectly balanced in its parts, it offers an intense and persistent aftertaste of mango, embellished with hints of mandarin and lime. A wine whose origins come from one of the most interesting areas of New Zealand.
