Querciagrande 2019 – Podere Capaccia

Querciagrande 2019 - Podere Capaccia
Written by Piero Pardini

Wine: Querciagrande
Variety composition: 100% Sangiovese.
Denomination: Colli della Toscana Centrale I.G.T..
Alcoholic strength: 14,5% vol.
Vintage: 2019.
Serving temperature: 14° – 16° C.

Tasting Notes
Limpid, ruby red in colour, consistent.
The nose opens with floral scents reminiscent of a potpourri of red flowers, which intertwine with a rich fruity texture of small red berries, ripe hard cherry and dehydrated plum, embellished with intense notes of sweet spices.
The sip is enveloping, well balanced and supported by a well-smoothed tannic texture. Good taste-olfactory persistence, with a fruity aftertaste with a hint of cinnamon.
An elegant and very pleasant wine, an expression of the territory.
