Ravello Rosso Riserva 2017 – Tasting Notes
Limpid, ruby red color with imperceptible garnet textures, consistent.
On the nose, the sample is of fine quality and a variegated bouquet of hints: floral, fruity, spicy and toasted. Wine with a complex olfactory bouquet. Floral hints of slightly withered red flowers. Fruity scent of forest jams and morello cherries, followed by spicy hints of cinnamon and cloves, which give way to roasting of freshly roasted coffee.
In the mouth the sample shows a well-polished tannin, despite its importance. Pleasant in its complexity and good freshness. A wine in the style of the producer that well characterizes the territory of origin.
It is recommended in combination with juniper beef stew in myrtle sauce.

Tasting Notes
Upon visual examination, the sample is limpid, of a lively ruby red with light garnet reflections, of good consistency.
The nose is intense, with a broad and complex spectrum of scents. It opens with floral notes reminiscent of a potpourri of red wild flowers, followed by aromas of small red berries and morello cherries in alcohol. Hints of pipe tobacco intertwine with notes of sweet spices and then close with a delicate nuance of coffee roasting.
Important sip, with still slightly aggressive tannins, which we will find nice smooth and silky with a further short period of refinement. Undoubtedly pleasant in its entirety, with a persistent finish of balsamic notes.
It is recommended in combination with a pork loin with prunes.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, the sample is limpid, ruby red in color with a very light, consistent purplish texture.
The nose opens with a range of complex, intense and fine quality aromas. Floral notes of freshly cut wildflowers are covered by an intense fruity scent. Wild berries in jam intertwine with hints of cherries preserved in alcohol. The olfactory bouquet is completed by delicate notes of sweet spices such as cinnamon and vanilla and then closed with a nuance of toasted coffee.
The sip is fresh, important. The tannin is decisive, precise, but not yet completely silky. The finish is long, persistent with balsamic herbs from the Mediterranean scrub.
An intriguing wine, an expression of the territory, which has not yet expressed its great potential.

Ravello Rosso Riserva 2020 – Tasting Notes
The limpid is clear to the eye and has an intense ruby red color with light hints of consistent garnet colour.
The olfactory range is complex, with intense scents and fine quality. The delicate floral notes are surrounded by intense aromas of slightly overripe red berries. There are addictive aromas of sweet spices embellished with hints of cigar box with, at the end, a nuance of grated chocolate bar.
The sip is elegant, well balanced in its parts. The tannic texture requires a further period of refinement. The finish is long with an intense aftertaste of ripe fruit and fine spices.
A sample of pleasure, to drink immediately, or to taste, with a pinch of patience, in its total harmony with further refinement. A wine that amazes year after year.
