Wine: Les Quarterons Blanc
Variety composition: 100% Chenin Blanc.
Denomination: Anjou A.O.C. Val de Loire.
Alcoholic strength: 12,5% vol.
Vintage: 2022.
Serving temperature: 8° – 10° C.
Tasting Notes
Crystal-clear, pale straw yellow in colour, with good consistency.
On the nose it is quite complex, with floral, fruity and herbaceous hints. It opens with notes of fresh white flowers intertwined with intense hints of white pulp fruit where the pear dominates over the apple. The olfactory bouquet is completed by a herbaceous note at the end.
The sip is fresh, quite balanced in its components. Freshness and acidity give an elegant sip with a delicate and quite persistent aftertaste of fresh fruit and freshly mown grass.
A wine to try throughout the meal on warm summer evenings.
