Critèra 2022 - Schola Sarmenti
Written by Piero Pardini

Wine: Critèra
Variety composition: 100% Primitivo.
Denomination: Primitivo Salento I.G.T..
Alcoholic strength: 13,5% vol.
Vintage: 2022.
Serving temperature: 16° – 18° C.

Tasting Notes
Limpid, with a lively ruby red colour, good consistency.
Upon olfactory examination it opens with the characteristic hints of the vine. The traditional floral notes are highlighted by an intense fruity scent. It is an intense and enveloping note of ripening fruit where fine hints of dehydrated plum, blackberry jam and hard cherry jam emerge. A delicate nuance of chocolate powder in the finish.
The sip is enveloping, with lively and elegant tannins, with an interesting and persistent aftertaste of ripe fruit.
A wine that tells the story of its territory of origin and is striking for its innate, pleasant freshness.
