Sissi 2019 – Cantina Merano

Sissi 2019 - Cantina Merano
Written by Piero Pardini

Wine: Sissi
Variety composition: 70% Moscato Giallo, 20% Petit Manseng, 10% Traminer Aromatico.
Denomination: Mitterberg Bianco Passito I.G.T..
Alcoholic strength: 12% vol.
Vintage: 2019.
Serving temperature: 8°-10° C.

Tasting Notes
Crystal-clear, straw yellow in color with amber reflections, good consistency.
Its variety of aromas is wide and of fine quality. The floral scents, reminiscent of rose petals, are intertwined with aromas of candied fruit, orange, peach and dried apricot. The bouquet of aromas is completed by notes of spices and a nuance of aromatic herbs from the Mediterranean scrub.
The sip is pleasant, elegant. Freshness and flavor give the taster an enveloping sip, almost a caress for the palate. Persistent, with an aftertaste of candied fruit, sweet, never cloying.
