Written by Piero Pardini

Wine: Contrada Crasà
Variety composition: 80% Nerello Mascalese, 20% Nerello Cappuccio.
Denomination: Rosso Etna D.O.C..
Alcoholic strength: 13,5% vol.
Vintage: 2017.
Serving temperature: 16° – 18° C.

Tasting Notes
Limpid, with a bright ruby red color, good consistency.
On the nose it offers intense aromas of fine quality. It opens with notes of wild violet followed by intense hints of red pulp fruit in jam. The range of aromas is completed by hints of spicy spices and a balsamic nuance at the end.
The sip is important, supported by a tannic texture that is overall well-polished. Good balance between the various components supported by a persistent aftertaste of ripe fruit.
A very pleasant, elegant wine that tells the story of its territory of origin.
