Arcuria 2021 - Calcagno
Written by Piero Pardini

Wine: Arcuria
Variety composition: 90% Nerello Mascalese, 10% Nerello Cappuccio.
Denomination: Etna Rosso D.O.C..
Alcoholic strength: 14% vol.
Vintage: 2021.
Serving temperature: 16° – 18° C.

Tasting Notes
Limpid, with a ruby red color, consistent.
The nose opens with floral hints of red rose and violet, followed by aromas of small red berries. The olfactory range is completed by intense aromas of sweet tobacco, licorice root and a nuance of undergrowth and humus in the finish.
The sip is structured, well balanced in its components. With an important tannin, but well smoothed and silky, it offers a persistent fruity aftertaste embellished with notes of cigar box.
A wine of great pleasantness and elegance, which tells the story of the territory to which it belongs.
