Gutturnio Riserva 2019 - Zerioli - Tenuta Pozzolo
Written by Piero Pardini

Wine: Gutturnio Riserva
Variety composition: 60% Barbera, 40% Croatina.
Denomination: Gutturnio D.O.C..
Alcoholic strength: 13% vol.
Vintage: 2019.
Serving temperature: 18° – 20° C.

Tasting Notes
Limpid, with a moderately intense garnet color.
The nose releases an intense and rich bouquet of aromas. Pot pourri of red flowers, intertwined with aromas of plum, Sanguinella orange and conjectures of small red berries. Hints of undergrowth and addictive notes of spices complete the examination. A balsamic nuance is noted at the end.
The sip is enveloping, noble, elegant. The tannic texture is not invasive, almost silky. Good persistence of olfactory taste of cherry in alcohol and freshly roasted coffee powder.
