Apricaia 2020 – Tenuta Moraia

Apricaia 2020 - Tenuta Moraia
Written by Piero Pardini

Wine: Apricaia
Variety composition: 40% Cabernet Franc, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot.
Denomination: Toscana I.G.T..
Alcoholic strength: 14% vol.
Vintage: 2020.
Serving temperature: 18° – 20° C.

Tasting Notes
Limpid, with an intense carmine red color, good consistency.
On the nose it releases a varied palette of fine quality scents. Hints of jammy fruit intertwine with delicate aromas of sweet tobacco, aromatic herbs of the Mediterranean scrub and addictive notes of fine spices such as cloves and cinnamon.
The sip is warm, supported by an enveloping and delicate tannin. The aromatic taste persistence is good, with an aftertaste of ripe fruit embellished with notes of freshly roasted coffee beans. A pleasant and elegant sip.
