Brunello di Montalcino 2020 - Pietroso
Written by Piero Pardini

Wine: Brunello di Montalcino
Variety composition: 100% Sangiovese.
Denomination: Brunello di Montalcino D.O.C.G..
Alcoholic strength: 15% vol.
Vintage: 2020.
Serving temperature: 18° – 20° C.

Tasting Notes
Limpid, with a ruby red color tending towards garnet, good consistency.
The nose opens with a broad and intense bouquet of aromas. The delicate floral notes of rose petals and wild violet are intertwined with intense aromas of cherry, durone, raspberry and blackberry. The olfactory range is completed by addictive spicy notes of cinnamon and cloves and, in closing, a nuance of vanilla.
The sip is enveloping, important, with a well-polished, almost silky tannic texture. The sip is elegant, with a persistent aftertaste of ripe fruit.
A wine that has been appreciated since its release, but destined to evolve further over the years.
