Written by Piero Pardini

Wine: Poggio alle Mura Riserva
Varietal: 100% Sangiovese.
Denomination: Brunello di Montalcino D.O.C.G..
Alcohol content: 15,5% vol.
Vintage: 2019.
Serving temperature: 16° – 18°C.

Tasting Notes
Limpid, with a vivid and intense garnet red color, good consistency.
On the nose it presents a range of intense, broad and fine quality aromas. The delicate floral notes are followed by intense aromas of ripe red pulp fruit such as durone cherry and black cherry jam. The bouquet of aromas is completed by notes of spices such as cloves and cinnamon. A light balsamic note finishes.
The sip is structured, elegant and harmonious. Perfectly balanced in its components, it is characterized by an important and well-smoothed tannic texture. Its freshness is enveloping, supported by a persistent aftertaste of ripe fruit embellished with a nuance of chocolate.
A wine destined for aging, but already now it manages to be appreciated with structured dishes or even for moments of authentic relaxation.
