Tasting Notes
In the glass the sample appears limpid, with a lively carmine red color with light garnet textures, of good consistency.
On the nose the range of aromas is complex and of fine quality. It opens with hints that recall a potpourri of moderately withered red flowers, followed by intense fruity notes of durone cherry, ripe plum and small red berries. The vast olfactory bouquet is completed by hints of spices such as cloves, cinnamon and freshly ground black peppercorns. In the finish a delicate nuance of aromatic herbs of the Mediterranean scrub stands out.
The sip is enveloping and invigorating. With an important but well-polished tannin, it is striking for its freshness and easy drinking. A persistent aftertaste of orange embellished with a balsamic nuance is highlighted.
